Immediate opening: bodyshop painter (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Sangamon County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners On a typical shift you will set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust.
