Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Goronyo, Sokoto State. You will work at a container port. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
