Sheet metal press operator • Nueces County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Nueces County, Texas. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses You will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
