Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Kala-Balge, Borno State. You will work at a shopfitting company. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain 6+ years on the tools preferred.
