Urgent requirement: crane rigger (Rivers State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Oyigbo, Rivers State. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
