Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Houston County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; season and marinate meat on request; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
