Vacancy available: lift mechanic (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Sutton County, Texas. You will work at a busy lift company. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
