Immediate opening: cnc lathe setter (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Accomack County, Virginia. The job is in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
