Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Leon County, Florida. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
