The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₦245,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
