Great opportunity: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Orange County, Vermont. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
