LGV Class 1 driver wanted in Kankakee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Kankakee County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Valid digital tachograph card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Your main tasks: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
