The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
