Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Kaduna North, Kaduna State. On a typical shift you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
