We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Suwannee County, Florida. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
