Landscape gardener — McCracken County

Join our team: we are hiring a landscape gardener in McCracken County, Kentucky. The job is at a private estate garden. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
