The role involves work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. Requirements: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
