Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Mesa County, Colorado. The job is on the press shop floor. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On the job you will handle: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
