Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Murray County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Day-to-day duties: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge 6+ years on the tools preferred.
