Great opportunity: gantry crane operator (Delta State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Burutu, Delta State. On the job you will handle: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Overtime paid at a premium rate.
