Catering cook • Lafayette County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a catering cook in Lafayette County, Florida. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Day to day you will prepare the mise en place before each service; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
