Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Ikwuano, Abia State. Day-to-day duties: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time, day shift.
