Head butcher • Maigatari, Jigawa State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Maigatari, Jigawa State. On a typical shift you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Full-time, day shift.
