Now hiring: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Morris County, New Jersey. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish The role involves tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
