Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Sarpy County, Nebraska. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Full-time with occasional weekends.
