You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
