Cnc turning machinist wanted in Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Scott County, Virginia. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
