You will straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting. You should have: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
