Urgent requirement: conventional mill operator (Washington)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Benton County, Washington. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
