The role involves strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. Requirements: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
