Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Itesiwaju

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Itesiwaju, Oyo State. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Day to day you will swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
