Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Tofa, Kano State. You will be based at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₦220,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
