Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Escambia County, Florida. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards The role involves: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience.
